2013 Galaxy Drive Series

Team up with the Galaxy and United Healthcare to support local non-profits by collecting much-needed items to assist the community. Together we can make a difference!

COLLECTION DETAILS

Drive Series Collection Booths will be located outside each of The Home Depot Center's entrances.
The collection will begin two (2) hours before kickoff and close fifteen (15) minutes after the start of the game.
The first 200 donors will receive a Galaxy Drive Series player card signed by the designated LA Galaxy player representative and cooler bag.
All donors will be entered into a drawing for adidas soccer ball signed by members of the 2013 LA Galaxy team.

JULY 20 VS VANCOUVER WHITECAPS FC – EQUIPMENT DRIVE

Give the gift of soccer by donating new or gently used soccer equipment, i.e. cleats, shin guards, soccer balls, etc. prior to the Galaxy vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC game on July 20. Equipment will be distributed to children and organizations to help grow and support youth soccer programs.

The first 200 donors will receive a United Healthcare Drive Series cooler bag. All donors will be entered into a drawing for an adidas soccer ball signed by members of the 2013 team.

AUGUST 17 VS REAL SALT LAKE – SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE

Did you know that millions of children go without basic school supplies each year? Join the Galaxy and United Healthcare in helping kids start the year with supplies to succeed in school by donating new supplies prior to the Galaxy vs. Real Salt Lake game on August 17. School supplies will be distributed to non-profit organizations that service children in need.

The first 200 donors will receive a United Healthcare Drive Series cooler bag. All donors will be entered into a drawing for an adidas soccer ball signed by members of the 2013 team.

Spiral Ring Notebooks
Crayons and markers
Pens, pencils and erasers
School binders
3-ring paper (college and wide ruled)
Pencil pouches and sharpeners
Homework folders
School and Scientific calculators – preferably solar powered
Book covers
Subject dividers
Glue and glue sticks
Arts and craft materials

SEPTEMBER 21 VS SEATTLE SOUNDERS FC – FOOD DRIVE

September is Hunger Action Month and the Galaxy and United Healthcare ask you to join in the fight by donating five (5) canned food items or $5.00 prior to the Galaxy vs. Seattle Sounders FC game to benefit the LA Regional Foodbank.

The first 200 donors will receive a United Healthcare Drive Series cooler bag. All donors will be entered into a drawing to receive an adidas LA Galaxy soccer ball signed by members of the 2013 team.

OCTOBER 6 VS CHIVAS USA - CLOTHING DRIVE

Winter is coming and its time to clean out your closets and donate your gently-used or new clothing, shoes, and blankets to children and families in need prior to the Galaxy vs. Chivas USA game to benefit the Union Rescue Mission.
