Player Appearance Request

Player appearances are an important part of the LA Galaxy’s outreach endeavors and provide the team the opportunity to make a positive impact throughout the greater Los Angeles/Southern California area.

The LA Galaxy attempt to reach every fan, however, their availability due to training, travel and games is at times limited. Please observe the following guidelines when submitting a request.

Guidelines

  • Submit requests six (6) weeks prior to the event date via the online Appearance Request Form. Faxed, mailed, or emailed requests will not be considered.
  • Appearances are no longer than 90 minutes in duration and must occur within a 35 mile radius (or 45 minutes) of The Home Depot Center. Please consider driving time when submitting the request for an appearance.
  • Appearances should not begin earlier than 2:00 p.m. on training days (training typically occurs Monday through Friday); Please refer to the Galaxy schedule as no appearances are allowed on game days.

  • A LA Galaxy staff member, intern and/or volunteer will attend every scheduled appearance and will bring the appropriate items as needed and will offer assistance when appropriate.
  • Appearance fees: Some events require appearance fees. The Community Development Department will contact you if your event requires an appearance fee.

Requests for Coaches and Staff

You must use the online LA Galaxy Appearance Request Form to request an appearance by a coach and/or front office/management member. Appearances by personnel in this group generally last for an hour and the Galaxy cannot guarantee that every request will be accommodated.  Please note, when players are unavailable, so too are many others in the organization who play supporting roles on and off the field.

Promoting Player Appearances

Use of the Los Angeles Galaxy name, logos and trademarks and/or any advertising that implies the support or sponsorship of an event or organization by the LA Galaxy, Los Angeles Galaxy Foundation, or Major League Soccer must be approved in writing by the LA Galaxy. Before promoting a Galaxy player appearance, please contact the Community Development Department for approval. This policy pertains to all forms of advertising, including all print, television and radio promotion.

Next Steps

Once your request has been reviewed, you will be contacted by a Community Development representative and learn the status of your request: declined, pending or accepted. Due to the volume of requests, please allow 2-4 weeks for a response.

If your request has been accepted, it has been done so in accordance to the information provided in the LA Galaxy Appearance Request Form. If changes are made after this time, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate the changes. As a general rule, the Galaxy do not make return visits to organizations within a calendar year. Also, an approved appearance does not guarantee annual participation by the Galaxy.

If for any reason we need to cancel an appearance, we will notify your organization as soon as possible.
