With the draw, the Galaxy now head into the second leg of the series needing a win or a draw to advance. Any Galaxy win in the second leg, which will be played at The Home Depot Center on Wednesday, March 14, would see the Galaxy advance to the tournament semifinals, as would a 0-0 or 1-1 draw. A 2-2 draw would send the series to extra time while any higher scoring draw would see Toronto FC advance, as would a TFC victory.
