PORTLAND, Ore. – On what was a record breaking night for the LA Galaxy, two players on opposite ends of their careers set a pair of personal accomplishments.

On one end, Galaxy captain Landon Donovan tallied his 100th career MLS assist for his role in creating Robbie Keane’s 28th minute goal. While on the flipside, 18-year-old Galaxy homegrown product Jose Villarreal made his professional debut, coming on for Keane in the closing minutes of stoppage time of the 5-3 victory over the Portland Timbers.
