CARSON, Calif. -- Robbie Keane was unavailable for Wednesday's 4-1 win over D.C. United but according to LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena, he may be back for Sunday's SuperClasico against Chivas USA.

At the outset of the game, it was revealed that the Galaxy were opting to rest Keane due to the team's recent schedule congestion, but during the post game press conference, Arena confirmed that the Galaxy forward had been dealing with a knock since last Saturday.

"Well, obviously, you don't want to lose a player of Robbie's quality, but I think the players are confident that we can play when we lose some players," said Arena. "That has been the case a number of times this year, and I think their response tonight was outstanding. Robbie is day-to-day now, he might be available on Sunday, it was from the last game, so hopefully he will be ready to go on Sunday, but I am not announcing any medical updates."

Getting Keane back could be a major boost for the in-form Galaxy as the Irishman has enjoyed plenty of support against the Rojiblancos with five goals and two assists during his tenure with LA.
