The Haitian Initiative is a joint program of the Los Angeles Galaxy Foundation and The Sanneh Foundation, foundation of former Galaxy and World Cup player Tony Sanneh, developed after the March 2010 humanitarian visit by the LA Galaxy and Galaxy Foundation to Haiti following the devastating earthquake. Through this partnership, the Foundations will continue to provide soccer-based youth programming, equipment and aid to Haiti during the rebuilding process. In July, the Foundations brought a U15 team from L’Athletique d’Haiti to the Twin Cities to participate in the USA Cup.
