  • Bruce Arena used the same lineup for the second consecutive game. The Galaxy have now used the same lineup in consecutive games twice in the last four game, having also done so against Chivas USA on June 23 and San Jose on June 29. They then made one change ahead of Thursday’s 2-1 win over Columbus, bringing Hector Jimenez into the starting lineup in place of Landon Donovan.
  • The only change to LA’s 18-man squad was the inclusion of Rafael Garcia on the bench in place of Michael Stephens.
