Salinas chip shot wins AT&T Goal of the Week

Union youngster gets first goal of 2010, tops Stephens' volley

 

Shea Salinas' nifty chip shot helped Philadelphia get their first road of the season on Saturday, and was the the overwhelming winner of the AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 10.

Salinas, who picked up his first goal of the season in the Union's 3-2 win over the Dynamo, received nearly 61 percent of the votes, easily topping Michael Stephens' early volley in the Galaxy's 2-0 win over Columbus (19 percent).

A gorgeous touch shot by Colorado's Conor Casey against Seattle came in third (14), followed by Chivas USA's pairing of Justin Braun (3) and Maykel
Galindo (3).
