More than 60,000 tickets already sold for LA Galaxy-Real Madrid match at the Rose Bowl
The LA Galaxy announced today that more than
60,000 tickets have already been sold for the club’s international friendly
power Real Madrid on Saturday, August 7 at the Rose Bowl. The match, which is
presented by Pechanga Resort & Casino, kicks off at 7:30 p.m. in Pasadena.
The General Admission, Sideline and Fieldside
sections are sold out, but individual tickets are available starting at just
$40, giving you the chance to see the Galaxy take on one of the world’s most
storied and recognized clubs.

in late May two-time Champions League winner José Mourinho as the club’s new
head coach. For this game, Mourinho will have his full roster of international
stars available for selection, including 2008 FIFA Player of the Year Cristiano
Ronaldo, 2007 FIFA Player of the Year Kaka, and the Spanish trio of Iker
Casillas, Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso, who will each be playing their first
game with the club since helping Spain defeat Holland 1-0 in the 2010 FIFA
World Cup Final on July 11.
signings Angel Di Maria and Sami Khedira are also expected to be in uniform for
the game and could make their Madrid
debut in the match against the Galaxy.

Parking lots open at noon for the game and the
Galaxy are urging fans to arrive at the stadium early so that they can
experience the complete array of entertainment options that will be available
to them prior to kickoff. Tailgating is encouraged and the Galaxy SoccerFest in
Lot H will have food, interactive activities and live music beginning at 3 p.m.
For the easiest access in and out of the game, fans are also encouraged to
carpool, ride the free shuttle to the game from Old Pasadena or use public
