Beckham involved in minor car accident in LA
LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham and his son Brooklyn were unharmed after being involved a minor vehicle accident on Friday morning.
Beckham was driving on the 405 Freeway near Torrance, Calif., with Brooklyn at 9:15 a.m. PT when his car hit a Mitsubishi vehicle that had stopped in the carpool lane.
"David swerved to avoid a stalled vehicle in the carpool lane and clipped the vehicle," a spokesperson for Beckham said. "Thankfully, he and Brooklyn were not injured."
The driver of the Mitsubishi was taken to a nearby medial center for precautionary measures, according to multiple reports that cited California Highway Patrol sources.
Neither drivers were arrested nor cited following the incident.
