In case you weren't able to tune in to Galaxy Live on FOX Sports West before the Galaxy's match on Sunday, May 1 vs FC Dallas, watch this week's feature below!

FS West reporter Jackie Pickering was on the scene at Leapwood Avenue Elementary School in Carson, winner of the 2011 Reading Garden Challenge, as LA Galaxy players Landon Donovan, Mike Magee and Todd Dunivant, volunteers from the LA Galaxy, The Home Depot Center, and The Home Depot Carson and Lakewood stores along with Leapwood Avenue Elementary School students painted, installed planters, built benches and planted flowers. After the Reading Garden was completed, the Galaxy players read to students.

Watch now as a simple patch of grass was turned into a beautiful reading garden for all the students to enjoy!

The Reading Garden is funded with proceeds from the 2010 How Suite It Is! fundraiser, and contributions from the Los Angeles Galaxy Foundation, The Home Depot Center Charitable Foundation and The Home Depot. In addition, Lakeshore Learning Materials, as a contributing sponsor, will be donating seat cushions for the Reading Garden.
