CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, June 28, 2011) – The LA Galaxy are kicking off the Fourth of July Weekend in style by hosting an exclusive Weekend Kick-Off Party Friday on the Target Terrace at L.A. Live.

Prior to the start of the party, which will go from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., there will be a red carpet entrance from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Walking down the red carpet will be the LA Galaxy team, including Head Coach Bruce Arena, captain Landon Donovan, midfielder David Beckham and the rest of the squad.

Highlighting the party is the official unveiling of the club’s new third jersey, which will be worn for the first time on Monday, July 4, when the Galaxy take on Seattle Sounders FC at The Home Depot Center. That game, which is presented by adidas, will be broadcast nationally by ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. Following the game, which starts at 7:30 p.m., the Galaxy will host the largest fireworks show in Southern California, powered by 102.7 KIIS FM.
