CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, July 3, 2013) – Following the cancellation of the “Messi and Friends” exhibition that was originally scheduled for Wednesday night at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the LA Galaxy are pleased to offer fans that were scheduled to attend that game a special discounted ticket rate for either of the club’s next two home games. The Galaxy will host two games at StubHub Center this week, first on Thursday night against the Columbus Crew, and then again on Sunday night against FC Dallas, and fans can secure tickets to either game, starting at just $30.50, by calling 877-3GALAXY (342-5299) or visiting the StubHub Center box office and referencing “Messi and Friends”.

“There are a lot of soccer fans throughout the region that were hoping to be able to see world class soccer players this holiday weekend and while they were not able to at the Coliseum, they can at StubHub Center,” LA Galaxy President Chris Klein said. “As soccer fans ourselves, everyone at the Galaxy recognizes the difficulty of this situation but we hope that our offer can help heal some of the disappointment.”

On Thursday, July 4 the Galaxy host Federico Higuain, Chad Marshall and the Columbus Crew at 7:30 p.m. The game, which is presented by Northrop Grumman, will be followed by one of the largest Fourth of July fireworks shows in all of Southern California.

Three nights later, on Sunday, July 7, the Galaxy will host David Ferreira, Raul Fernandez, Blas Perez and the rest of FC Dallas at StubHub Center. The game between the two Western Conference rivals kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and is presented by Time Warner Cable SportsNet. The first 10,000 fans to enter the stadium that night will receive an Omar Gonzalez bobblehead, courtesy of Nestle and Smart & Final.
