CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, July 31, 2013) – The LA Galaxy announced today that Friday’s open training session with Real Madrid has been moved from StubHub Center to UCLA. Real Madrid, who have been training at UCLA since arriving in Southern California on Sunday, requested the change of venues in order to maintain a consistent training schedule during their stay. The training session, which will give fans the opportunity to watch one of the world’s premier clubs hone their craft up close in an intimate environment, will begin at 5 p.m. on UCLA’s North Athletic Field (Sunset and Westwood Plaza off of Charles E. Young Dr. north).

As a result of the change and the rest of the tournament schedule, Everton will no longer be able to take part in the open training session as previously scheduled. Everton supporters who are not interested in watching Real Madrid training session will be offered a full refund. The deadline for full refunds is noon (PT) on Friday, August 2.

With the training session set to begin at 5 p.m., fans are asked to arrive at 4 p.m., with complimentary parking provided in Lot 4, which is directly below the training site.

All fans who purchased VIP tickets will still receive a 30-minute autograph session with Real Madrid; however, with the change of venue, catering is no longer available for VIP ticket buyers. As a result, all VIP ticket purchasers will be refunded $55 per ticket. The autograph session will either take place prior to Real Madrid’s training session or directly afterward. Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to have one item signed by the 32-time Spanish champions.

The Galaxy begin the Guinness International Champions Cup on Thursday, August 1 when they take on Real Madrid at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. in a game that kicks off at 7:30 p.m. (PT) and will be shown live on FOX Soccer. Those two sides will then be joined by Everton and Juventus in a doubleheader at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, August 3. These will be the first-ever soccer games to be played at Dodger Stadium and tickets are on sale now. Please call 877-3GALAXY (342-5299) or visit www.lagalaxy.com/icc to purchase tickets or for more information on the Guinness International Champions Cup.
