LA Galaxy to train at StubHub Center during Bye Week | Weekly Schedule

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, Oct. 5, 2015) – The LA Galaxy will train at StubHub Center ahead of a bye week in MLS play. They will return to action on Sunday, Oct. 18, when they host Portland Timbers FC at StubHub Center. LA Galaxy II will face Oklahoma City Energy FC this Sunday, Oct. 11 in the USL Final on the road at Taft Stadium, with kickoff set for 4 p.m. PT (www.lagalaxy.com).
The LA Galaxy earned a 1-1 road draw against Seattle Sounders FC Sunday night at CenturyLink Field. With the draw, the Galaxy clinched a berth in the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs. The Galaxy are now 14-9-9 on the season (51 points) and sit in first place in the Western Conference. The Galaxy have scored the second most goals in Major League Soccer this season with 53, only behind Toronto FC (55). LA are 7-3-2 in their last 12 MLS competitions and 9-3-3 in their last 15 matches in all competitions.
LA Galaxy forward Gyasi Zardes will represent the USMNT in the 2015 CONCACAF Cup this Saturday, Oct. 10 against Mexico at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Captain Robbie Keane will also be away on international duty with Ireland for UEFA European Championship 2016 Qualifying Round matches against Germany on Oct. 8 and Poland on Oct. 11.
