Staff Sergeant Fasel was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and at the age of 7, relocated with her family to Germany. That is where she spent the next eleven years of her life. Upon turning 18, she set her sights on yet another adventure, this time to the United States.

In 2015, she decided to enlist in the U.S. Army as an 88M Motor Transportation Specialist, where she provided crucial logistical support to military operations. Fasel deployed to Iraq with the 3rd Security Force Assistance Brigade from 2019 to 2020.

Currently, she is working towards her master’s degree in military Intelligence, with anticipated graduation by the end of this year. She is now serving as a recruiter in the LA Battalion. In addition to her military service, Fasel is a proud mother to two daughters and is fluent in four languages. Some of her awards include the National Defense Service Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, and the Marksmanship Qualification Badge Sharpshooter.
