How Acquired: Traded to the Galaxy from the Philadelphia Union in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft on March 1, 2013.

2012: Selected by Philadelphia Union in the first round of the 2012 MLS Super Draft with the 13th overall pick.

2011: Started and played in all 24 of UCLA’s games during the 2011 season… Scored 18 goals and notched six assists for a total of 42 points… Led the Bruins and was fourth nationally in goals (18), thirteenth in goals per game (.75), fourth in points (42), twelfth in points per game (1.75) and game-winning goals (5)…  He was a M.A.C. Hermann Trophy semifinalist… NSCAA Third-team All-American… First-team NSCAA All-Far West selection… First-team All-Pac-12 honoree… Second-team CoSIDA Academic All-American and first-team Academic All-District and Pac-12 All-Academic… Tied the UCLA record for consecutive games with a goal (five games from Sept. 2-16)… Set all-time single season Pac-12 records for goals and points… Had four multiple-goal games on the season which tied a UCLA record…

2010: Despite suffering a leg fracture on the first day of preseason training that sidelined him for the first 11 games of the season he ranked first in the Pac-10 in goals per game (.55) and second in points per game (1.18)… Was seventh in the Pac-10 in goals scored with six on the season… Trained with the LA Galaxy in the summer of 2010.

2009: Ranked seventh in the Pac-10 in goals scored with five. Ninth in the Pac-10 in points with 12… Started in 15 of 19 games played during which he became the top freshman scorer in the Pac-10…

High School/Club: Attended Oak Mountain High School where he was  a two-year captain and a four-year varsity athlete… NSCAA/adidas High School All-American… ESPN Rise ALL-American and Alabama Player of the Year in 2008… Gatorade State player of the Year in Alabama (2008, 2009)… Scored 121 goals (third-most in Alabama history), 45 assists, 33 game winning goals and 17 hat tricks during his high school career…  Lead his club team, Birmingham United, in scoring and to six state titles… Region 3 Premier League leading scorer (2004-2007)… One of only two high school players to play for the Panama City Pirates of the PDL… Led his ODP State team in scoring from 2004-07.

Personal: First player from Alabama to play soccer at UCLA… Valedictorian of his high school class and a member of National Honor Society.
