Galaxy players sign autographs at Soccer Nation Expo in Long Beach

The masses assembled in Long Beach Saturday for the annual Soccer Nation Expo presented by Cal South at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center.  The LA Galaxy were center stage as club captain Landon Donovan gave fans insights into what made him the soccer player he is today in a one-on-one interview with former Galaxy midfielder, Kyle Martino from Fox Soccer Channel.

At the Galaxy’s interactive area hundreds of Galaxy fans arrived early for the chance to meet and get an autograph from the reining MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, Donovan Ricketts.  In addition to Ricketts, Galaxy fans were entertained by the Galaxy Street Team, Miss LA Galaxy 2011 Lara as well as Court members Monique and Kathleen. The girls signed autographs, posed for photos and orchestrated numerous prize giveaways for all of the fans at the Expo.

Also in attendance was Galaxy assistant coach Curt Onalfo who led a group of local female Cal South players in a coaching exhibition on the main soccer field inside that was constructed inside the Convention Center.  Among the many interested observers were a number of the Galaxy’s camps and clinics coaching staff.  Goalkeeper Josh Saunders was also on hand, representing his glove manufacturer Aviata Sports signing autographs and posing for photos with Galaxy fans.
