Individual tickets go on sale Monday for LA Galaxy-Real Madrid friendly at L.A. Coliseum

CARSON, Calif. (Friday, May 20, 2011) – The LA Galaxy announced today that individual tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday for the club’s international friendly against Spanish power Real Madrid at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The game, which is part of the 2011 Herbalife World Football Challenge, kicks off at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 16 in Los Angeles, Calif.


Individual tickets will start at $40, giving fans the chance to see the Galaxy take on one of the most storied and recognized clubs in the world. A nine-time European champion and 31-time champion of Spain’s La Liga, Real Madrid won their 18th Copa del Rey championship last month, defeating Barcelona 1-0 in the final. They also finished second in La Liga this season and reached the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League, their best finish in the competition in eight years.
