CARSON, Calif. (Friday, June 3, 2011) – The LA Galaxy announced today that, in collaboration with adidas, the club will debut a third jersey this season. The Galaxy will wear their new jersey for the first time on Monday, July 4 against Seattle Sounders FC at The Home Depot Center. That game, which is presented by adidas, kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and ESPN3.com.
The new uniform will be revealed three days prior to the game against the Sounders on July 4, however, fans will be able to begin pre-ordering the jersey exclusively through the Team LA Store and online via TeamLAStore.com beginning at Friday’s game against D.C. United. Team LA is located throughout the stadium at various kiosks including their main store which can be found outside of the Southwest Entrance of The Home Depot Center.
The official unveiling of the Galaxy’s third jersey will be held at an exclusive VIP event in downtown Los Angeles on July 1. The event will be the first opportunity for fans to view the third jersey and additional details will be released in the near future.
