CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, August 17, 2011) – The LA Galaxy today traded forward Juan Pablo Angel to Chivas USA in exchange for a third round selection of the 2012 MLS Supplemental Draft.
One of the Galaxy’s three Designated Players, Angel signed with the Galaxy in January after being selected in Stage 2 of the MLS Re-Entry Process. He scored three goals in 22 games for the club this season, tallying in the 4-1 loss at Real Salt Lake on March 26, the 4-1 home win over Sporting Kansas City on May 14 and the 2-2 draw with Toronto FC at The Home Depot Center on June 11.
