CARSON, Calif. — LA Galaxy forward Robbie Keane has played a role in helping the LA Galaxy win the Supporters' Shield, but an adductor muscle injury might see him sitting off stage when the MLS Cup Playoffs begin.

Keane was ruled out of Tuesday's Euro 2012 qualifying match in Dublin against Armenia and, according to reports, could be out up to four weeks. Keane complained of pain in his adductor after going the distance in Ireland's 2-0 win over Andorra on Saturday.
However, LA Galaxy coach Bruce Arena was not about to hand out a diagnosis on Keane's playoff availability.
"We'll know more when he gets back here," Arena said at Galaxy training on Monday. "Can't tell until he gets back here and we have our people look at him."
If Keane is indeed out for a full four weeks, he may not be healthy until the Western Conference Championship. Should the Galaxy advance that far, the game would be played on Nov. 5 or 6, four weeks to the day of the Ireland-Andorra match.
Keane joined the Galaxy on Aug. 20 and scored a goal on his debut against San Jose. He has scored two league goals and one CONCACAF Champions League goal as well and has logged 275 minutes over four league matches and has also played in three Champions League matches.
