LA Galaxy, Houston Dynamo & AEG Announce Commitment to Weingart East Los Angeles YMCA

Just two days before the teams compete for the Championship of Major League Soccer, players and executives representing the LA Galaxy, Houston Dynamo, MLS and AEG will come together at the Weingart East Los Angeles YMCA to announce the donation of a new soccer and sports field to be shared by the adjoining YMCA and Sunrise Elementary School.

The Weingart East LA YMCA currently teaches physical education to over 600 Sunrise Elementary School students on a daily basis on a poorly kept grass field that has dirt lots, unkempt patches of grass and an unleveled surface.  The Weingart East Los Angeles YMCA will use the newly installed soccer field for their after school soccer and football programs.
