Robbie Keane has been deemed fit to travel to Ireland's World Cup Qualifier against the Faroe Islands on Tuesday, the Irish Federation said in a statement on Sunday morning.
The Irish captain missed Friday's 6-0 defeat against Germany in Dublin with an Achilles injury, but has been declared fit enough to travel to Tuesday's important World Cup Qualifier.
Ireland are currently in third place in UEFA World Cup Qualifying group C, three points behind Christian Wilhelmsson's Sweden.
