EL SEGUNDO, CA (December 11, 2012) – Time Warner Cable SportsNet will celebrate the LA Galaxy’s second-consecutive MLS Cup with behind-the-scenes programming that takes fans inside the team’s playoff run. Three new episodes of “Backstage: Galaxy” will premiere tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 12 from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m. PST in a two-hour block and a “Backstage: Galaxy – Run to MLS Cup 2012” special will air on Dec. 31 at 6:00 p.m. PST.
Tomorrow night, Episode 4 of “Backstage: Galaxy” will take fans on the team plane to Seattle, where the Galaxy defeat the Sounders and advance to the MLS Cup. The next episode features the team preparing for the championship game and reacting to the news that David Beckham will soon play his last game with the team. Episode 6 profiles the Galaxy’s MLS Cup victory, going inside the locker room celebration with David Beckham, Landon Donovan and the rest of the team and behind-the-scenes of the victory rally.
“Backstage: Galaxy – Run to MLS Cup 2012” will give fans a 60-minute look at the best of the LA Galaxy’s playoff run. Additionally, each of the LA Galaxy’s playoff wins, including the MLS Cup victory, will air as episodes of “Timeless Galaxy.”
