Galaxy U-19's fall to Fulham 2-1 in Dallas Cup

The LA Galaxy Under-19’s fell to the Fulham FC U-19’s 2-1 in the second match of their Dallas Cup campaign.

Fulham built a two goal lead off goals by Lasse Vigen Christensen in the 14th minute and Jordan Evans in the 51st minute of play. LA cut the lead to one in the 75th minute when Drew Murphy scored his second goal of the tournament off a penalty kick after a Fulham handball inside the penalty area.

The English outfit now lead group play with six points, while the Galaxy are level with defending Dallas Cup champions Coritiba with three points after the Brazilians defeated Eintracht Frankfurt. LA will take on Coritiba on Thursday in the final group stage match.

Remember, the three group winners qualify for the semifinals while the best second place finisher advances. LA need a big win over Coritiba to earn a spot in the semifinals.
