CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, May 30, 2013) – The first opportunity to experience the LA Galaxy’s new Champions Lounge will take place on Saturday, June 15, when the club celebrates Champions Night at The Home Depot Center. Four days prior to the club’s first Major League Soccer game at the newly-renamed StubHub Center, the Galaxy will open the doors to new Champions Lounge, a premium hospitality area that brings the fans closer to the game.

As part of the celebration, the LA Galaxy Foundation is hosting Champions Night, a night that will honor the club’s past, present and future. The guests in the attendance will get to interact with current players and alumni through Casino-style gaming as well as have the opportunity to see the Galaxy’s new third kit for the first time.

The night will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the unveiling of the all-new Champions Lounge, which will be the new standard of premium experience at StubHub Center. Located less than 100 yards from the Galaxy locker room and the field, the Champions Lounge will give fans the chance to see the players up close and in a brand new light as they prepare to take the field.

The celebration will feature casino-style gaming, food and beverages, a silent auction and the opportunity to mix and mingle with current and past Galaxy players at the opening. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the LA Galaxy Foundation.

Event guests will also have the first opportunity to see the new third kit that will be used by the club during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. The new kit was designed by a Galaxy fan last year as part of a contest hosted by the Galaxy and the club’s official presenting sponsor, Herbalife.

LA Galaxy Season Ticket Holders can purchase Champions Night tickets for $150 while general public can purchase theirs for $175. All proceeds from the night, including ticket sale, go to support the LA Galaxy Foundation. Champions Night tickets are available online at www.lagalaxy.com/championsnight. TEAM LA will also be selling the club’s new third jersey at their stores both inside and outside the stadium that evening.

Additionally, guest will have the opportunity to watch the Galaxy Reserves take on the USL Pro’s L.A. Blues on the Main Field that night. That game, which is part of the Galaxy’s MLS Reserve League schedule, kicks off at 7:30 p.m. This will be the second meeting of the Reserve League calendar between the Galaxy and Blues following a 4-3 Galaxy win on May 7. As part of their package, Champions Night guests will receive fieldside seats for this game.
