CARSON, Calif. – Robbie Rogers and Robbie Keane were not present during the last 15 minutes of training on Tuesday, but Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena is “optimistically hopeful” that they will be available for Saturday’s match against the Colorado Rapids.
Both players missed out on Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC with injuries as Rogers is currently suffering a right hamstring issue while Keane is dealing with a left hip flexor strain. When asked if they could be available for Saturday, Arena stated that “we will see.”
“We’re hopeful,” said Arena. “We’re hopefully optimistic that they can train and play this weekend.”
