The Galaxy sit in a tie for fourth place in the Western Conference with the Colorado, just a point ahead of sixth place San Jose Earthquakes, who are on the outside looking in. The Galaxy and Colorado each have four games remaining while San Jose have three left on their docket. However, the Earthquakes will play the Rapids on Oct. 9 at Buck Shaw Stadium before taking on the LA Galaxy on Oct. 20 at StubHub Center.
