Recovering Juninho feels "ready" for Montreal Impact after overcoming adductor injury

CARSON, Calif. – After missing the LA Galaxy’s 5-0 victory over Chivas USA two weeks ago with a  right adductor strain, Juninho believes that he’s fit and ready for Wednesday’s clash with the Montreal Impact.

Following training, Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena told reporters that the team has not yet “made any decisions their lineup” but noted that Brazilian had been training with the squad as of late. Juninho himself stated that he was “not 100 percent yet,” but felt optimistic about his status for Wednesday.

“I’m feeling much better. Today is my third day training with the guys. It’s very important to me and I’m looking forward to getting back to the field,” said Juninho. “I’m ready and I expect a rude game because we need three points. We’ll be without a couple of guys so the young players need to step up and prove themselves.”
