Robbie Keane on expected crowd at CenturyLink Field:"Hopefully it'll be silent after the game"

CARSON, Calif. – There will be yet another enormous crowd on hand on Sunday at CenturyLink Field as over 66,000 tickets have been sold for the LA Galaxy’s clash with Seattle Sounders FC on Sunday.

For the Galaxy, however, the crowd seems to be of little concern. Following the team’s final training session at StubHub Center before departing for Seattle, LA captain Robbie Keane and Kofi Opare addressed the crowd subject and admitted that it was a non-issue for the Galaxy.

“Hopefully it’ll be silent after the game, certainly. I've obviously been in Europe so a hostile atmosphere is always good,” said Keane. “When we've played there in the past, it’s been a good atmosphere. It’s certainly a stadium that people enjoy playing in—apart from the turf.”

“To be honest, right before the game, you can see and hear the crowd. But once the game gets going, it’s just a regular soccer game and it doesn't influence you that much,” added Opare.
