LA Galaxy club President Chris Klein and AEG Chief Operating Officer Kelly Cheeseman were named to Sports Business Journal's Fourty Under 40 list earlier this week.
Klein, a 12 year MLS veteran, has served as the club's President since January of 2013 after spending time as the Galaxy's Academy Director and Vice President. During Klein's tenure, the 38-year-old club President has played a major role along with LA head coach and general manager Bruce Arena at locking Landon Donovan, Omar Gonzalez and Robbie Keane to extended deals.
Cheeseman, 37, has been with AEG since 2001 when he served as an Account Executive for the Los Angeles Kings. The AEG COO splits time between the Kings and the Galaxy, and works closely with Klein and the Galaxy front office.
