LA Galaxy goalkeeper Brian Perk is up for MLSsoccer.com's Save of the Week after his quick stop of Real Salt Lake attacker Ned Grabavoy that helepd preserve a 1-1 draw between the Western Conference rivals.
Perk made his first start since May 26, 2012 after starting goalkeeper Jaime Penedo missed the match to attend to his visa in Panama earlier in the week. The 24-year-old's save came in the 57th minute when he pounced on a low-rolling effort by Grabavoy toward the Galaxy near post.
