CARSON, Calif. – Despite making strides with his recovery, LA Galaxy left back Todd Dunivant is “unlikely” to suit up for LA during their match against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday according to head coach Bruce Arena.
Dunivant, who was out running during training earlier this week, was not present during Galaxy training on Tuesday. Arena told reporters that the left back is “moving forward” and will be back training “soon” as he looks to recover from an abdominal injury that has sidelined him since LA's April 6 victory over Chivas USA.
With Dunivant unavailable, it seems likely that A.J. DeLaGarza will fill in out on the left side of defense on Saturday.
