CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy II forward Chandler Hoffman was named USL PRO's Player of the Week after his two-goal performance last week.
Hoffman tallied two goals in a victory over the Charlotte Eagles and a draw with the Dayton Dutch Lions. The 23-year-old has five goals so far this season with Galaxy II.
“I think being named Player of the Week is a great honor and I keep using it as motivation to move forward,” said Hoffman. “I scored two goals last week, the game winner and the only goal against Dayton.”
In addition to Hoffman, center back Kyle Venter was also named to the team of the week.
