LA Galaxy work with Make-A-Wish to sign 15-year-old forward Jacob Trainor

CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy made a splash on Thursday by giving a young man a chance to make his life dream come true.

The Galaxy announced the signing of 15-year-old forward Jacob Trainor as part of his Make-A-Wish to be a member of the LA Galaxy. The Alabama native who was an accomplished youth soccer player was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia on February 8, 2011 that forced him to miss the rest of the soccer season.
