CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy made a splash on Thursday by giving a young man a chance to make his life dream come true.
The Galaxy announced the signing of 15-year-old forward Jacob Trainor as part of his Make-A-Wish to be a member of the LA Galaxy. The Alabama native who was an accomplished youth soccer player was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia on February 8, 2011 that forced him to miss the rest of the soccer season.
Trainor will attend the Galaxy's match against FC Dallas and have the opportunity to watch the match from field-side. The complete release can be found here.
