LA Galaxy II forward Jack McBean and midfielder Bradford Jamieson IV named to USL PRO Team of the Week

CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, June 10, 2014) – LA Galaxy II forward Jack McBean and midfielder Bradford Jamieson IV were named to the USL PRO Team of the Week for Week 12 of the 2014 USL PRO season.

Galaxy’s Homegrown Players McBean and Jamieson IV earned selection for strong attacking performances against the Dayton Dutch Lions as they both scored a brace in the team’s 5-1 victory over the Dayton Dutch Lions at StubHub Center in USL PRO Week 12 action.

In just the eighth minute of the game, Los Dos  forward Charlie Rugg sprinted down the right side and fired a cross that Jamieson IV side-footed into the back of the net.

In the 25th minute, Galaxy II tallied again when Dragon Stojkov’s cross fell to McBean. With his back against the goal, the striker agilely spun away from his marker, and buried the left footer into the far corner.

Galaxy II added to their lead approximately 15 minutes later as McBean tapped in a cross to complete his brace and his third goal of the USL PRO season.

Los Dos got their fifth three minutes later when Rugg slotted a ball behind the Dayton defense that Jamieson IV comfortably put away for his second goal of the game, and his fourth goal of the season.

Additionally, Galaxy II forward Charlie Rugg and midfielder Andre Auras were named as honorable mentions after their strong performance in Sunday’s action.

LA Galaxy II will return to action Wednesday when they face off against Rochester Rhinos at the StubHub Center Track and Field Stadium at 7:30 p.m. PT.
