When the LA Galaxy take on Manchester United on July 23rd at the Rose Bowl, they'll face the Red Devils in their brand-new Chevrolet adorned uniforms, which the English club unveiled on Monday.
The friendly against the Galaxy will not only be the first match for the kits but also the debut of new United manager Louis Van Gaal, who is currently the manager of the Netherlands. The Dutchman will join the Red Devils for their preseason preparations once his nation's participation in the 2014 FIFA World Cup is complete.
United is expected to have their full compliment of stars once when arrive in Southern California asThe Guardian reported on Monday that Van Gaal has requested that England internationals Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, Phil Jones, Luke Shaw, and Chris Smalling participate in the tour.
