CARSON, Calif. -- Omar Gonzalez's status for the LA Galaxy's match against Real Salt Lake on Saturday is still up in the air according to head coach Bruce Arena.
The Galaxy boss told reporters on Thursday that Gonzalez is still a possiblity for the RSL match, but his status is still in question as he did not participate in on-the-field training on
"Possibly Saturday. We'll see how he's doing," he said. "We have him inside working."
Gonzalez told reporters on Tuesday that he and the LA training staff were going to be "smart' about the ankle injury that the defender suffered in the second half of the U.S. National Team's World Cup round of 16 defeat to Belgium last week.
