LA Galaxy defender Oscar Sorto starts for U.S. Under-23's in 2-0 loss to Brazil U-23's

LA Galaxy Homegrown Player Oscar Sorto started and went 90 minutes as the U.S. Under-23's fell 3-0 to their counterparts from Brazil on Monday evening in Brasilia.

The 20-year-old Galaxy defender was solid in defense for the USMNT U-23’s  and nearly helped set up an equalizer in the second half with a dangerous cross that was ultimately flubbed by former Galaxy Academy forward Mario Rodriguez.

Although the Americans had their chances, the Brazilians dominated from start to finish even going ahead after just three minutes when center back Luan beat U.S. goalkeeper Cody Cropper.  The Brazilians then padded their lead with two goals in the second half as Brazilian youngsters Douglas and Vinicius scored.
