CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014) – The LA Galaxy continued their season-long commemorative match day poster series by unveiling the first 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs artwork for the LA Galaxy vs Real Salt Lake second leg match of the Western Conference Semifinals at StubHub Center this Sunday, Nov. 9 at 4:30 p.m. live on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.
Designed by artist Meen Choi, the poster depicts Sunday’s Western Conference Semifinal matchup between Galaxy vs Real Salt Lake matchup using Galaxy legend Landon Donovan in a spacesuit along with figures representing teammates Robbie Keane and Omar Gonzalez. Choi also designed an illustration of Galaxy Head Coach Bruce Arena in The Angeleno’s Guide to the Galaxy, a 20-page magazine that looks back at the decorated history of the LA Galaxy and soccer in Southern California that was given to LA Galaxy Season Ticket Members.
All of the proceeds from poster sales will go to the LA Galaxy Foundation. All previous commemorative match posters for the 2014 season are also available for purchase at www.lagalaxy.com/posters.
