CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014) – The LA Galaxy continued their season-long commemorative match day poster series by unveiling the artwork for first leg of the 2014 Western Conference Championship between the LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders FC at StubHub Center this Sunday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. PT live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
Designed by artist Taryn Gee, the poster features a trio of Galaxy players – Landon Donovan, Robbie Keane and Marcelo Sarvas – representing Los Angeles, the City of Angels. Donovan, Keane and Sarvas are depicted with Angel wings among the clouds along with the words “The City of Angels”.
All of the proceeds from poster sales will go to the LA Galaxy Foundation.
The Galaxy have worked with local, national and international artists all year to design unique artwork to represent each Galaxy home game at StubHub Center this season. All previous commemorative match posters for the 2014 season are also available for purchase at www.lagalaxy.com/posters.
