The LA Galaxy wrapped up their 2014 postseason community-based #GalaxyTour by spending four days with club nutrition partner Herbalife in Lima, Peru.

The Galaxy contingent arrived in Lima, Peru on Thursday after taking part in a three-day tour of Quito, Ecuador. As soon as the group touched down in Peru, Galaxy players Landon Donovan, Marcelo Sarvas, Juninho, Leonardo, Gyasi Zardes, Jaime Penedo, Omar Gonzalez and A.J. DeLaGarza got right to work as they participated in a soccer clinic with local children.

While the Galaxy worked with the Peruvian kids, Galaxy president Chris Klein, Galaxy II head coach Curt Onalfo and Alex Saava, the club’s manager of Sports Science, took part in a chalk talk discussion panel with 150 coaches from the area. Once the work was done, the group settled down for the Herbalife Christmas Party in Lima.

In their final day in South America, the Galaxy took part in a Casa Herbalife soccer clinic for children in one of Lima’s more impoverished areas. Following the kickabout, the group ended their stay with a special lunch with local Herbalife presidents before departing for the U.S. the following morning.
