Mexican national team to face Ecuador in Los Angeles in March as part of 2015 U.S. Tour

NEW YORK & MEXICO CITY (Thursday, January 22, 2015) – The Mexican National Team will kick off its 13th annual U.S. Tour with two important March matchups during the FIFA window. The Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM) today announced Mexico will face 2014 FIFA World Cup participants Ecuador on Saturday, March 28 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (9:30 p.m. ET). Three days later, Mexico will travel to Kansas City to face South American side Paraguay on Tuesday, March 31 at Arrowhead Stadium (9:00 p.m. ET).


The top stars from Mexico and both CONMEBOL rivals are expected to be called up as the teams prepare for key international tournaments, including the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup and the 2015 CONMEBOL Copa América.


Additional matches for Mexico’s 2015 U.S. Tour will be announced at a later date.  


Tickets for the LA game will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, January 27 at 10:00 a.m. local time.  Tickets for the Kansas City game will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, February 12 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
