CARSON, Calif. – The boys are back in town.
Less than two months after winning MLS Cup, the LA Galaxy were back on the training ground as they began their preseason preparations for the 2015 campaign. A day after the group arrived for physicals, the team stepped on the field for the first time since their MLS Cup triumph.
Although their season ended just 47 days ago, defender A.J. DeLaGarza told reporters that he and the rest of the Galaxy were ready to get back to work.
“The offseason felt long but now that we’re back, it feels like last weekend we were here trying to win an MLS Cup. But everyone wants to be back because this is what we do for a living and we enjoy it. We don’t want to be sitting around on the couch all day and having to run to keep fit.
