CARSON, Calif. – In the preseason, players put in the work that comes in handy when the regular season and ultimately the postseason roll around.
The LA Galaxy are currently in their second week of training and finished their first full training with the complete squad after Robbie Keane joined the group on Monday. Given the fact that the Galaxy are in early days of their preparations, the sessions have been a mix of grueling physical training and some levity.
The Galaxy will continue their preseason training on Saturday with a closed-door scrimmage with Cal-State Fullerton. The team will then head to Washington D.C. a day later where they will meet with President Barack Obama who will honor the team for their 2014 MLS Cup championship on Monday.
