CARSON, Calif. – A day before embarking for Europe, the LA Galaxy hit the training ground to get a bit of fitness before Wednesday’s 14 hour flight to Dublin.
With the long flight on Wednesday evening in mind, Bruce Arena and the rest of the Galaxy coaching staff ran the group through the paces as they prepare for a taxing flight to Europe. Not only will the fitness tests aid the team as they prepare for their trip to Europe, but it also served as an important benchmark as Arena decides his final travel roster for 11-day jaunt.
LA will play Hammarby on Feb. 16 at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm and then wrap up the European adventure against Shamrock Rovers on Feb. 21 at Robbie Keane’s hometown ground Tallaght Stadium.
