The LA Galaxy Foundation kicked off their 20 for Twenty initiative on Wednesday by joining Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles in building a home in Lynwood, California.

Club president Chris Klein, Academy Director Pete Vagenas and assistant coach Kenny Arena joined Galaxy players Gyasi Zardes and Rafael Garcia in helping Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles in completing a group of seven homes in Lynwood.

The volunteers were separated into two groups on Wednesday with one set painting one of the homes while the others laid drywall for a different project. Families have already been selected to live in the homes which are expected to be finished in June.

The 20 for Twenty project will continue throughout the 2015 calendar year, with the next event being announced at a later date.
