LA Galaxy boss Bruce Arena after FC Dallas defeat: "We should not have lost that game tonight"

FRISCO, Texas -- LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena addressed reporters following his club's 2-1 defeat to FC Dallas.

(On conceding two goals late in the game...)

ARENA: “We didn’t do well at the end of the game in the last 15 minutes or so, and that’s my responsibility. When a team plays that poorly on the road, they’re not well coached. We blew a lot of points this week, we could have stolen six points this week, and we walked away with one. That’s my responsibility; I have not done a good job with this team to get them tactically ready for games.”

(On what he has to do to get the players to be better late..)

ARENA:"Train and get them to think when they're tired. We should not have lost that game tonight."

(On Gyasi Zardes' goal perhaps kick starting his confidence...)

ARENA: "Let's hope. Let's hope."

(On the LA goal that was nullified by an offside call...)
ARENA:
"I think the ball hit Tommy Meyer in an offside position."
(On losing Dan Gargan to yellow card accumulation suspension...)
ARENA:
"We'll have someone else ready to go."
(On the game as a whole...)
ARENA:
"We played well for 75 minutes, we played poorly for 15."
