Robbie Keane is on his way to the 2015 AT&T MLS All-Star Game, and LA Galaxy supporters will have the opportunity to give him the armband for the match against Tottenham Hotspur on July 29 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
MLS is allowing fans to select the captain for the MLS All-Star Game through the league's Snapchat account which will feature illustrations of the three players that MLS All-Star head coach Pablo Mastroeni has nominated for the armband. Joining Keane in the running are Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley and Orlando City SC's Kaka.
In order to vote for the All-Star captaincy, fans must add "MLS" on Snapchat, and then view the league's story feed and screenshot the illustration of Keane to place their votes. Voting begins at 3:00pm PT on Saturday July 17 and will run for 24 hours. Those interested in voting will be able to take as many screenshots as possible to register their votes.
